Stuff Out'a My Head Chanting Monks Studios has set the release date for its first hardcover and paperback title: STUFF OUT'A MY HEAD. The book is an anthology collection of horror fiction written by long-time comic book creator Joseph M. Monks (Cry for Dawn, The Night Terrors, NightCry), and features illustrations by industry legend Bernie Wrightson (Swamp Thing, House of Mystery, Batman and more.) The book marks the third collaboration between Monks and Wrightson, who last worked together on the comic book THE NIGHT TERRORS in 2001. STUFF OUT'A MY HEAD features six stories, including the original, unedited version of TOKENS, which was adapted in Cry For Dawn Volume I. Also included in the collection are CHANCE MEETING, originally made available in a preview ashcan in the mid 1990s, as well as three other original stories, penned exclusively for this release. Among them, BRUTAL, which details the horrific lengths one teen will go to in order to establish himself with a tough, urban street gang, and PORN, which follows the exploits of the world's number one female adult star as she rides a collision course to hellish self-destruction. Wrightson lends illustrations to the book, which will also be available in a limited edition hardcover. The bookplate is signed and numbered by both artist and author, and will only be produced for 1,200 copies. Wrightson is recently coming off the Stephen King original, FROM A BUICK EIGHT, and is currently working on another King project, scheduled for release sometime in 2003. Wrightson is also releasing his newest sketchbook collection, the werewolf-oriented CREATURES FEATURED III, also through Chanting Monks Studios. Order Stuff Out'a My Head
